As of January 1st 2021 we now stock R20 Units in the UK! The Empulse R20 had a very successful launch and has been very well received by dealerships and end users alike. It is the lightest Powerpack on the market with a total carry weight of just 6kg.
In 2020, Quickie has introduced a brand new active manual chair to the market, the Quickie Nitrum. The Nitrum is the next generation Helium, its combination of weight and energy efficiency make it one of the most advanced manual chairs every introduced by Quickie.
Sunrise Medical are pleased to announce that the Q300M-Mini and Q400M are available as MND Neurochairs.
We are pleased to announce that since the launch of the Q-Series and following vital customer feedback, significant improvements have been made to the online configurator and paper prescription forms. The changes relate to updating the structure of the order forms and removing any unnecessary options from the configurator; these updates are with immediate effect.
The R20 Powerpack was introduced in September 2019 as the first product in the Sunrise Medical E-Mobility Portfolio, Empulse. Following on from this we have introduced our Wheeldrive Powered wheels into the portfolio also.

From 1st January 2021 we will be stocking 6 configurations of the ZIPPIE & QUICKIE Iris in the UK, each fitted with hub brake kits as standard. We have undertaken a project to stock both the Quickie and Zippie IRIS in the UK to overcome the above challenges and offer the IRIS to a wider audience.

Following customer feedback since launch of the Q-Series, we are pleased to announce the following design and technical updates to the Q400 M and Q500 M with regards to the ride performance, this is with immediate effect and also can be retro fitted to both models in the field.

Sunrise Medical 18 months ago introduced a new range of powerchairs the Q-Series with new seating systems. Once products are launched into the market we always ensure that we review any customer feedback, whether this is on the quality of a product or design features which need to be enhanced further.
We consistently review our complaint management system log to understand if there are trends within quality/design feedback from products in the field. As we have been reviewing this we have found a number of cases on the Q700 UP & Q700 Sedeo Ergo, where there is excessive wear on the aluminium guiding plate on the backrest.

Following customer feedback we will be adding a handbrake function on the Trophy as a standard option to provide an extra safety feature for the user.

In September 2019 we introduced a change that allowed us to interface the J3 compact mounting hardware to the JAY Zip backrest shell (TB 0604). This improved the durability of the JAY Zip bracket and allowed it to be retro-fitted with existing products.
Following the successful launch of the Empulse R20, we have received many requests to fit the device onto a wider range of chairs.

In an ongoing effort to improve the design, functionality and performance of our early year’s strollers, the ZIPPIE Voyage, has under gone a design improvement that introduces a new Voyage base. This is to replace the previous Baby Jogger City Select base with a newly, designed for purpose, Zippie Voyage base.
