Following the success of the launch of the QUICKIE QS5 X we have received great feedback on the revised option pricing and greater value for money that QS5 X offers. This was done by understanding what the most desirable options were and making them more affordable than they previously were.
This success has prompted us to review the option pricing across the rest of our active manual wheelchair range starting with the QUICKIE Nitrum. Moving forward, the option pricing of the Nitrum has been amended and is now in line with the QS5 X, offering increased value and greater accessibility to our most desirable options.
Please see below examples of the option price reduction and the impact on an average specification when ordering QUICKIE Nitrum.
Example 1: An average Nitrum specification with a mixture of plastic and aluminium components, now offers a user saving of £335 when ordering the twist-lock backrest, aluminium sideguards, composite footplate, and aluminium castors.
Example 2: A slightly higher specification than standard, including height-adjustable push handles, fender sideguards, and lightweight EVO brakes offers a saving of £475 with the revised pricing.
Example 3: A top of the range specification including all carbon fibre and lightweight options is reduced from £4,995 to £4,345, offering a saving of £650 when ordered with a JAY Easy Visco cushion, carbon fibre sideguards, and a carbon fibre footplate
This new option pricing, matching the QS5 X, aims to offer the end user as much value for money when choosing the QUICKIE Nitrum and allows our most desirable options to be realistic and achievable for most end users. Summary of cost saving below:
