Subject of Bulletin:
As has been stated in a previous Technical Bulletin, the closure of the HMC factory in Belgium has led to Sunrise Medical sourcing alternative solutions for all HMC components.
Sunrise Medical has already introduced the Switch-It Micro Pilot and the Switch-It Micro Guide as replacement items for the HMC Mini Joystick. We now announce the introduction of the Switch-It Versaguide as a direct replacement for the HMC Compact Joystick. The Versaguide can be used as either hand or chin control, and offers the same benefits to the customer as its predecessor.
This introduction completes the update on standard special controls that are available directly via the order form on
Salsa and Jive models.
For information regarding additional special control inputs such as foot controls, tablet drives etc, please contact your local Area Sales Manager or speak to the Technical Service Centre on the number detailed below.
