In an ongoing effort to improve the design, functionality and performance of our Breezy Basix2 and Breezy Rubix2, we have undergone an important update in the manufacturing process of the 7 strap tension adjustable backrests when selected in combination with a half folding back.
When delivered, the 3rd strap will not be mounted to the backrest tube, as in some cases we have found users to have issues with this being caught in the mechanism. The 4th strap will now be mounted to the lower side of the hinge. The result is the backrest functionality of the half folding back is seamless and ensures that it not only locks out first time every time, it also ensures a long life of the folding mechanism.
The 7th strap will still be supplied so the great thing about this update is if your user does require that little bit of extra support, you are able to position the 7th strap wherever you see fit during handover if necessary.
Important Note: This update is imminent and all chairs will now be supplied following this manufacturing process. Thank you for your product feedback and allowing us to continue to improve our products to better suit your users' needs.
