Due to sudden and unforeseen supply chain challenges, we are announcing a temporary stock out of 10ah chargers (option code XXX160103) for our entire Q-Series powerchair range. We are working hard to rectify this as soon as possible, but our current expectation is to be out of stock until mid-November.
This is only an issue when you are selecting the 80ah batteries on our Q400 M & Q500 M powerchairs, so most orders will remain unaffected.
Solution
Until we receive stock of these chargers, we will be swapping all orders from 10ah to 8ah chargers. This will be done by our order processing team at the point of order to ensure you are not charged for the 10ah charger option.
Unfortunately, we are unable to amend our online configurator so the option will still appear on our online configurator, if you do require the 80ah battery option it will force you to select a 10ah charger as normal. This will then be amended to an 8ah charger by our admin team.
To ensure that no one is invoiced for a charger they will not receive, we have temporarily removed all upcharges associated with the 10ah chargers.
From a product perspective, the 8ah charger will still charge the battery and not impact overall performance, it may have a slightly longer charge time with higher capacity batteries.
End Date
As mentioned above we are due to receive stock in mid-November which will rectify this issue, and the ordering process will go back to normal.
