The Empulse R20 has been crash tested safely according to ISO 7176-19.
When the R20 is mounted on a wheelchair that has also successfully passed a crash test according to ISO 7176-19, the combination is safe to use as a seat in a motor vehicle.
The R20 no longer needs to be removed from the wheelchair for transport
