We have received a small number of complaints regarding excessive flex in the frame of the QS5 X, which in those cases has led to the drive wheel catching on the armrest or sideguard.
The pictures below show before and after propulsion, showing the reduction in space between the wheel and sideguard that is common with this issue.

The reason for the issue was two-fold:
Since 17th November 2023, all chairs manufactured with either a desk sideguard or single post armrest have been fitted with additional spacers between the frame and the axle stem to increase the distance between the wheel and the sideguard/armrest.

Since 28th November 2023, all chairs manufactured have had additional washer kits fitted between the locking nut and axle sleeve, the torque of the nut has also been increased from 25nm to 35nm.
For chairs manufactured before the 28th November 2023, you can purchase washer repair kits as a spare parts, listed below:
