As part of our continuous improvement program, we are updating the chain protection on the Shark RS. This is driven by UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) regulations. As of the 12th August 2021, the chain protection will be updated to a high-strength clear Makrolon which will replace the current carbon protection. This will provide a number of benefits for the user: Visibility As Makrolon has a glass-like transparency, visibility to the front is improved Racing The Shark RS remains compliant for all races under UCI-regulations Weight Carbon = 70g, Makrolon = 104kg Spare parts will be updated in accordance.
