At QUICKIE we continually review our products that have been available to understand if we are able to make our product easier to work with and understand for both prescribers and engineers. Therefore after reviewing the Q700-UP & Q700 Sedeo Ergo we are pleased to introduce with immediate effect a new generation of recline actuator. The key reason for this development was to combine the external feedback sensor and actuator in to one module to reduce the complexity of servicing the chair in the future as there is now no need for a calibration sequence or a WebIQ update. Also as the feedback sensor is now built in to the actuator this also provide extra protection to reduce the risk of damage to the sensor. The new actuator with the integrated sensor can be retrofitted on to existing chairs in the field and the part number is 21803040-ET. For more information on this update or queries on the Q700 UP or Q700 Sedeo Ergo please contact either the Powerchair Product Specialist Sam Owen (Samuel.owen@sunmed.co.uk) or Powerchair Technical Specialist John Barnsley (john.barnsley@sunmed.co.uk)
