This course provides a robust foundation to get started with programming the most common parameters on the Sunrise Medical powered wheelchair range.

Note: Please bring handheld programmer or laptop with programming software and dongle if your organisation has one available.

This one day course provides a robust foundation to get started with programming the most frequently needed parameters on the Sunrise Medical powered wheelchair range. It includes both VR2 and R-net style control systems.

Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Use PC software and hand held programmers confidently
  • Alter essential programming parameters to optimise drive performance in response to client requirements
  • Work with files to save, alter, rename
  • Use subset files
  • Work with programming profiles to optimise ease of client access to programming functions
  • Identify common electronic faults in fault logs

  • Sunrise Medical dealers
  • Occupational Therapists, Rehab Engineers,
  • Clinical Scientists and Physiotherapists
  • Field Service Engineers
  • Students in an occupational therapy, physiotherapy, clinical science or rehabilitation engineering programme
