The Backrest Masterclass will give attendees an overview of the range of backrests available on the Sunrise Medical wheelchairs.
It will delve into the adaptability of the JAY range, detailing how to choose the correct backrest, and how to get the most out of the equipment for clients with complex postural needs. This is for anyone looking to learn more about the JAY backrest range, getting hands on with measuring, ordering and fitting, and use of the JAY spine align kit.
There will be an overview of Sedeo backrests, and clinical justification of when to use each, and which wheelchairs you can fit them to. Also, you will feel confident in assessing when your client meets the clinical reasoning to go to a bespoke RIDE Designs Custom backrest.
We will also look at the Whitmyer range of headrests available to complement the backrest you have chosen.
