When you need more help maintaining your seated position, the JAY GelZone High Contour brings additional support alongside pressure relief and skin protection.

Its 3” pommel and lateral thigh supports help manage inward and outward thigh movement, providing greater control over your positioning. A plastic rigidiser and side rail supports reinforce the cushion’s structure, while pressure-relieving gel and responsive memory foam cushion your body and help protect vulnerable skin.

Available in a range of prescriptive sizes and cover options, with modifications to accommodate individual needs, the High Contour combines enhanced positioning support with everyday comfort.

The GelZone features a combination of gel and foam aimed at protecting vulnerable areas. With an added top foam layer for enhanced comfort, the GelZone includes a non-migrating gel pouch positioned just below the surface, ensuring maximum weight distribution and pressure relief by keeping the gel close to the skin.

The cushion's design maximises weight distribution and reduces pressure through careful shaping. Plus, its rolled front edge enhances comfort too. To ensure proper placement, orientation markers are present on both the cushion and its cover.

Choose a Cover: Microclimatic or CoolOver

The GelZone can be ordered either with a Microclimatic or CoolOver cover.

Microclimatic Cover: Spacer is a 2-way stretch fabric that promotes circulation and takes some of the insulation away from the skin that other covers may create.

CoolOver cover: Heat and moisture are known to contribute significantly to skin breakdown. CoolOver is designed to help regulate skin temperature effectively. When the skin temperature is higher than the desired level, the CoolOver cover helps to drive away excess heat form the skin, while it also facilitates heat retention when the skin temperature is lower, aiming to maintain an optimal temperature of the skin.

All GelZone cushions feature an interliner cover, giving extra protection to the core. This innovative liner still has stretch and breathability as well as being splash proof. It can be wiped clean for hassle free care.
