As part of our continuous improvement initiatives, we’re introducing a steering spring assembly as standard on all Extreme X8 powerchairs without a steering lock.The spring assists in stabilising the X8’s steering, particularly noticeable when driving on flat terrain and at lower speeds. The spring also helps to reduce wheel deflection, providing a smoother, more predictable driving experience in both forward and reverse.

When a product goes down it is vitally important to get it repaired as soon as possible, ensuring that your clients are not without essential equipment for long periods of time. Our existing manufacturing set up means that spare parts are stocked in our Germany manufacturing plant, therefore subject to longer lead times, often leading to extended waiting periods to receive the critical parts that you need to carry out repairs.
StarLock Cushion Discontinuation: Effective ImmediatelyWe would like to inform you that, due to ongoing supplier challenges which have not been resolved despite significant efforts from our global purchasing team, we are ceasing distribution of Starlock with immediate effect.This decision has been taken due to continued disruption from the supplier and their supply chain which has result in extended lead times of 6–10 weeks. We believe these delays are not acceptable, particularly given the needs of high-risk clients, and therefore we have take the decision to cease distribution.

We regret to inform you that due to issues out of control regarding our supply chain, we are no longer able to supply the Quickie Krypton R and Krypton F, and with immediate effect have closed our ordering system.Quickie Krypton R/F are the lightest active manual chairs in the Quickie product portfolio, utilising advanced carbon fibre braiding technology to provide strength, durability and rolling performance without compromising on weight. To achieve this, we rely on a specialist sub-supplier to provide our frames who are one of the market leading manufactures of carbon fibre, and have access to specialist, patented technology that sets the Krypton apart from other market alternatives.

The JAY 2 and JAY 2 Deep Contour have been a mainstay of the JAY Product range for over 30 years. During our seating roadshows we have received feedback that ordering these cushions can be challenging because the format is difficult to understand and do not resemble other JAY products.We are pleased to introduce new JAY J2 & J2 DC order forms, redesigning the respective documents to align with the rest of the core Sunrise seating range.

On 24.10.2025 we announced via TB UK300 that we had encountered supply chain challenges with the 10ah chargers (option code XXX160103). Due to this all 10ah chargers were replaced with 8ah chargers by the processing team to ensure no delays on powerchair deliveries.

Due to unforeseen and immediate supplier shortages of the Schwalbe One Tyres, we will be unable to offer them on our manual wheelchairs until at least January 2026.As a temporary alternative, we will fit and deliver Gazelle tyres instead, to ensure that no orders are delayed and no end users are impacted.

Due to unforeseen delays in our supply chain, we are unable to source 10mm inset frame for the Krypton F. Unfortunately, the 10mm inset frame is the only choice for the Krypton F so we have no option but to close the ordering system for this product.While no defined timing can be given for re-opening, we are working on an immediate solution to secure a new supply chain for these frame parts. The options that have been temporarily closed are as follows:Krypton F: Article number 77 100 000 / 001 temporary closure

Due to sudden and unforeseen supply chain challenges, we are announcing a temporary stock out of 10ah chargers (option code XXX160103) for our entire Q-Series powerchair range. We are working hard to rectify this as soon as possible, but our current expectation is to be out of stock until mid-November.This is only an issue when you are selecting the 80ah batteries on our Q400 M & Q500 M powerchairs, so most orders will remain unaffected.

The IRIS family and the Zippie TS are products manufactured at our US facility and therefore historically our parts information was held on the US product website.However, the US Sunparts catalogue is a 500+ page document which creates confusion due to the complex terminology and the volume of pages and parts available. To address this feedback, the information has been moved over to UK Sunparts.

To improve usability and meet customer demand, the configurator has now been updated so that when an attendant or dual control is selected on one side, a push handle is automatically included on the opposing side as standard.Previously, when an attendant or dual control was selected, the configurator did not allow the addition of push handles, as the attendant control mounted into one of the same slots.
