Fold smaller with the new Front Fold
One of the biggest innovations available on the QUICKIE QS7 X is the new Front Fold option.
Using folding technology originally developed for the RGK Octane FX, the Front Fold reduces the QS7 X's transport size by up to 45% compared with a conventional folding wheelchair.
By allowing the front section of the wheelchair to fold back on itself, the QS7 X creates a significantly smaller package for transport and storage. Whether you're loading your wheelchair into a car or navigating public transport, its compact folded size makes it easier to take your wheelchair with you.
The QS7 X also features our FreeFold™ technology for smooth, low-effort folding and unfolding, while the integrated Fold-N-Lock system securely holds the wheelchair closed once folded.
Lightweight without compromising performance
Starting from just 6.7 kg transport weight, the QUICKIE QS7 X has been engineered to make everyday handling and transportation easier.
Its frame is constructed from aerospace-grade 7000 series aluminium, combining low weight with high strength. An oval tube profile and a reduction in frame-clamped components further increase rigidity, helping to minimise unwanted movement and energy loss through the frame.
The result is a folding wheelchair that feels precise and responsive when you're on the move, while remaining light enough to make a noticeable difference when it comes to lifting and loading.
Designed for a smoother, more efficient ride
The QS7 X isn't just about how it folds.
Its advanced caster system has been designed to provide smooth, consistent tracking, reducing the need for continual corrections while pushing. Combined with the increased rigidity of the frame, more of your pushing energy can be translated into forward movement.

Different frame options allow you to prioritise the characteristics that matter most to you, from a minimalist open-frame design to increased strength for higher user weights and power assist compatibility, as well as the new compact Front Fold option.

Smart details for everyday life
A range of carefully considered options add even more practicality to the QS7 X.
Discreet integrated LED lights can provide additional illumination when required and are easily removed for charging, while the compact aluminium Omobic brake offers smooth operation with an ergonomic, ribbed grip.
Even when folded, the QS7 X has been designed with everyday handling in mind. Consistent wheel camber helps the wheelchair remain stable and upright when folded, making it easier to position beside you while transferring or preparing to load it into a vehicle.
