Peter also runs EPC wheelchairs, who supply made-to-measure wheelchairs and equipment and specialise in QUICKIE sports wheelchairs.

Peter's competitive chair is the QUICKIE Match Point TI tennis wheelchair. He also uses the QUICKIE Xenon² folding wheelchair as his everyday chair.

I call my QUICKIE Xenon my flying wheelchair as it’s great to use when I’m travelling abroad. I can use the wheelchair right up to the plane seat thanks to the quick release transit wheels which I have fitted to the back. These allow me to remove a wheel and flip-up the push handles when I board the plane so I that can propel to my seat. Then I can fold up the wheelchair, remove the transit wheels and place the wheelchair into the overhead locker so there are no worries about it being damaged or lost in transit. It also looks great with matt black paint and orange castors to match the orange flex rims which are great for manoeuvring through narrow spaces. The new Schwalbe airborne 1.2” tyres make for excellent handling too – they’re so light and grippy.
